Client Feedback

  • “I did the bottleneck analysis with Jess and I also attended her seminar on emotions. I felt that I was in very good hands with her on both counts. Not only because of the expertise she has, but also because of her relaxed and easy-going manner. I can really recommend the bottleneck analysis. I was able to get to the bottom of a number of issues that put stress on me. Using the structure of the bottleneck analysis makes the issues a lot more tangible, because you recognize patterns and nexuses. That way, you can really get to the bottom of things and comprehend what’s going on, recognize your part in all of this. I’d like to add that up until that point, I had not done any coachings before. I'm a lot more open to it now. The right guidance can definitely help you get a better grip on your issues, better than tackling them alone.”

  • "An on-line article called “Unlock your superpowers: Why it makes sense to work with a stress coach” caught my eye. I was intrigued to learn more about stress and emotions and how to understand and manage these better. The fact that Jessica offered a free consultation gave me a chance to understand how the coaching would work and if I felt she was someone I could work with. The initial consultation went well. I found Jessica to be very open and friendly. The fact that she spoke fluent English was a plus for me. She‘s also very flexible with appointment times, which as a busy working mum was crucial, as I needed to find a time that I could commit to around everything else. At the end of the consultation, I’d signed up to a coaching course. Jessica took time to get to know and understand me. Her approach has many tools available. Some we tried and they didn’t really suit me so we quickly moved on to others. The bottleneck analysis was my favourite. Using a template and key steps over a few sessions, I was able to identify key challenges I was facing and the connections between them. We identified the underlying bottleneck and practical ways to address this. This was an approach and a tool I was not familiar with and I think made this coaching experience different to others I have undertaken in the past. It was a fast-track way to really understand the biggest issue to work on, which I found quickly led to improvements across many areas of my life. It was immensely satisfying to feel the progress I was making. I would definitely recommend Jessica as a coach. She has an easy, friendly style. The practical approach is adapted to make it more personal. What can be a difficult and awkward topic (at least for me) she makes less daunting and more fun. The first free consultation allows you to see if her style and approach would suit you. Give her a try, you have nothing to lose and a lot to gain! "

  • "I had to chance to be part of a keynote Jessica did on stress and emotions. The talk was very informative and Jessica’s way of raising awareness and imparting knowledge is extremely entertaining. She held the keynote in perfect English. I can recommend her keynotes and workshops to anyone who would like to know more about the important topics of stress and emotions. Thank you, Jessica, for the valuable work you’re doing."

At the beginning of the coaching process, we perform a detailed bottleneck analysis to identify the underlying issue. The bottleneck is that one factor that leads to a variety of challenges in your current day-to-day life. Many coaches only focus on the superficial challenges instead of the underlying issue. Once we have identified the bottleneck, many of the other challenges solve themselves, because they lead back to the underlying issue. And this I can say with certainty by now: it’s never what you think! Oftentimes, clients tell me “I know what the problem is. I have low self-worth.”

Well, congratulations! All of us have an issue with our self-worth, in one way or another. This makes the issue about as tangible as a reflection in a body of water. If you really want to get to the bottom of it, you need to identify how your self-worth issue shows up in your day-to-day life. Make it tangible. That’s the only way to find out where and how to start - and this is different for everyone. „Insane, I would have never come up with this one!“ or „I was not aware of any of this“ are things my clients say after we identified their bottleneck.

The bottleneck analysis helps us identify the biggest lever for improvement and sustainable change - and it keeps us from wasting time focusing on symptoms. At the same time, it provides you with maximum transparency and measurability.

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will rule your life and you will call it fate.”

Frequently asked questions

  • Absolutely! Stress as well as emotion management is a skill that can be trained. I am living proof! I used to be known as a hot-head, especially when I played ice-hockey. You just need to be curious and willing to actually make a change in your life. If you don’t change anything, the results will stay the same.
